मां
Inspiration. Such a strong word. An even stronger emotion. All of us look forward to achieving great success and living a happy life. In this journey, we often meet or come across certain people or certain things that leave a huge positive impact on us. There are times when you meet someone and you are like, "I want to be like him/her someday". At that moment, you are inspired. You are inspired by this certain someone and you look up to them, you wish to be like them. When you are inspired by someone, you automatically get the strength to work hard and walk on the path that would lead you to becoming like them.
I have been asked so many times about who my inspiration is, or what inspires me to write, to not give up, to keep moving forward in life no matter what. I was waiting to write this blog so eagerly.
My inspiration is my Maa. The only human in this whole wide world who was able to leave such a strong impact on me and still does, every single day. I have seen her fight her battles so proudly, I have seen her grow so much without anyone's support, I have seen her turning her tears into her strength, I have seen her being her beautiful self every day and every moment. I have seen her wearing a smile on her face even when she has all the reasons to breakdown. Her eyes, they twinkle when she smiles. She is pure magic.
Sometimes I look at her and I wonder if i will ever be able to be even half of what she is. She is so effortlessly beautiful. She wears all her scars so proudly. She knows her way through life. I have never seen her giving up. I have seen her handle even the worst situations in life so gracefully. What did I do to deserve her? I must be really lucky to have this beautiful woman as my mother.
The strength she possesses is unmatched. She is so optimistic, even when her world is falling apart. Even when everything around her is breaking down, i have seen her gather everything and start afresh. I have never seen her hate anyone, not even the ones that hate on her. When I look into her eyes, all I see is purity. For me, she is the epitome of purity. She is full of love, so much love for everyone and everything around her.
Maa, this one is for you. I want to be like you every day, every moment of my life. You inspire me, everything about you inspires me. I just want you to know that you are the most important thing in my life, you always have been, and you always will be.
There is a little something I wrote for you, Maa. This perfectly defines our bond, the love between us, the moments we shared, the times we spent and the times that passed us by.
"Mujhe door le jaa iss jag se, ek teri hi parchayi mujhe mehfooz lagti hai, Maa mujhe raas na aya koi aur, ek teri hi rooh meri rooh samajhti hai. Tune ungli pakad ke jo kadam rakhne sikhaye the mujhe, woh dagmaga zaroor gaye hongey aaj, Par teri dikhayi hui manzil nahi bhoole. Apne haathon se jo niwala khilaya tha tuney, uska karz kaise adaa karoon mein? Apne seene par sar rakh kar har raat jo sulaaya tha tune, wahi neend kaha dhundhoon mein? Mere aansu apne palkon se poch kar, mere dard ko apna dard samajhkar, Har galti ko nazarandaaz kar kar, mujhe muskuraana sikhaya tha tune. Iss duniya ka uchaala hua keechad mujh par, apne aanchal se pocha hai tune. Tere pairo tale meri jannat hai, teri aankhon mein hi chaand dekha hai meine. Woh khuda bhi jalta hoga tujhse, tere kadam choom kar hi ibaadat ki hai meine. Bhagwan toh nahi dekha meine, par ek teri hi parchayi mein khuddai dekhi hai meine."
